William Bill Tedjuk

A high-risk sexual offender is now living in Regina and the Regina Police Service is advising the public under the Saskatchewan Public Disclosure Act.

William Bill Tedjuk is a 46-year-old man described as aboriginal, 5-foot-5 and 139 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, a number of tattoos on his arms and chest and scars on both forearms.

Tedjuk has history of committing violent sexual offences against female children and adults.

He will reside, for the time-being, in the Heritage neighbourhood at a residence that will provide supervision and monitoring of his activities.

His conditions state that he:

Must reside in community correctional centre or residential facility and return nightly;

Stay away from places where children under the age of 18 are or are likely to be, and not be in their presence, unless accompanied by an adult previously approved in writing by his parole supervisor;

Immediately report all intimate sexual and non-sexual relationships and friendships with females to his parole officer;

Doesn’t enter a residence where the primary source of income comes from the sale or consumption of alcohol;

Doesn’t consume, purchase or possess alcohol or drugs, other than prescribed medication and over-the-counter drugs as recommended;

Doesn’t associate with any person known to or believed to be involved in criminal activity or the drug subculture.

Any member of the public with questions or concerns is encouraged to contact the RPS at 777-6500. To report an incident where Tedjuk violates any of his conditions, contact the RPS or Crime Stoppers at 545-8477. Those outside of Regina should contact their local police or nearest RCMP detachment.

Regina police stress this information is meant to raise community awareness and not to be used for unlawful purposes against the person.
